Até os lóbulos batem palmas...

Coisa bonita que passa hoje pelos meus ouvidos...

Um aperitivo:
Soul Jazz Records latest release features classic and rare electric blues, funk and psychedelic soul music recorded in Chicago in the 1960s. This music was all released on Chess records which originally made its name from blues music. By the 1960s, however, the label was an incredibly successful record label releasing all types of black music rivaling the great American soul labels such as Atlantic Records in New York, Motown in Detroit and Stax in Memphis.
Featuring legendary artists such as Etta James, Rotary Connection, Muddy Waters, Fontella Bass and many more, this release draws on Funk, Soul, Jazz and Electric Funk Blues. Many of these tracks have been unavailable for over 40 years! From the psychedelic soul of Rotary Connection featuring a young Minnie Riperton to the heavyweight funk of Etta James, from rare-groove classics such as Soulful Strings “Burning Spear” to the electric blues funk of Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf and Little Milton this is an essential release.
This release comes with extensive photos and sleeve-notes and super-loud double vinyl. Chicago Soul follows on from earlier Soul Jazz Records such as New Orleans Funk, Philadelphia Soul, Saturday Night Fish Fry and Miami Sound in bringing you classic funk and soul from USA.
